Here is the slate of this weeks games starting tonight.

FAU vs. Akron

Bowl: Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl | Time: Tuesday, 12/19, 6 PM

Line: FAU -22.5

First off, what a name for the Boca Raton Bowl. Last year it was The Boca Raton Wet The Beak Ponzi Scheme Awareness Bowl presented by Pardon My Take presented by Barstool Sports. Yes it doesn’t beat the name for last year but it easily is the best bowl name this year. This sounds like an enticing matchup, with FAU being the consensus favorite. But Akron can play some defense, going 3-9 in the O/U in the high scoring MAC. FAU is a high scoring team and is coming in hot. This game will be basically a home game for Owls. FAU wins this one easy.

Louisiana Tech vs. SMU

Bowl: DXL Frisco Bowl | Time: Wednesday, 12/20, 7 PM

Line: Over 71

LaTech is coming in winning 3 of its last 5 games while SMU has only won 2 of its last 5. SMU has the 8th best offense in the country but also the 8th worst defense in the country. LaTech, is average at both. Looking at both teams records in the gambling worlds, combines they have gone 13-11 straight up, 12-12 ATS and 13-11 over under. Not at all sure how this game is going to go. However, SMU has had a coaching change amid, Chad Morris leaving for Arkansas. This game is going to be very unpredictable. With as porous as this Mustang defense is, Louisiana Tech should be able to utilize their strong rushing attack. Take the Over at 70 points or LaTech +5. You wont lost both.

Temple vs. Florida International

Bowl: Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl | Time: Thursday, 12/21, 7 PM

Line: Over 56.5

In the last 5 games for each team, both teams have gone over 9 out of 10 times, going over 56 points 9 of the 10 times. This should be a very exciting game. FIU in its last 2 losses, allowed 89 points while scoring 104 points in its last 2 wins. Temple is also in on its own heater going over in 5 of its last 5 games. This game is being played in St. Peterburg, where it is predicted to rain on Thursday, luckily this game will be played inside at Tropicana field, so hammer the over.
