Morning Grinders: May 1st

Just one day closer to the weekend. As any cube monkey knows, we can no longer give the excuse of the weekend during  the sluggish work mornings. There were late games last night with Vegas and San Jose dropping puck at 9 pm Central.

Great move by AD Jeremiah Donati, who said this will be a pilot program for the football season in 2018. As somebody that likes a good tailgate, there is nothing wrong in bringing the party to the stadium. However, TCU fans should be aware that Ohio State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State at home. These fans, especially those from Ames, are known for their massive alcohol intake. But till then, hot dogs, beers and baseball can hold it down in Fort Worth.

Indiana landed a huge recruit with 5 star guard Romeo Langford. A quick look at his mixtape, this kid can ball. Langford has strong fundamentals, can shoot the long ball and throw down the hammer. This kid is everything I would want on my team as a coach. Fantastic pickup for Archie Miller and the Hoosiers.

Song of the Day

Song of the Summer. O.A.R released Just like Paradise just about a month ago. There is just something about this song that makes me want to take the day off and fly to a beach somewhere. But at least this morning, I can close my eyes and imagine that I’m there. Listen to the song here.
