The time is here. College Football starts tomorrow and there is no better time to bet. Last season we went 85-69 for a total record of 20.05 units in the positive. I don’t promise you the same success as last year, but the only way to know is to start betting.

Hawaii vs. Colorado St.

Line: Colorado State -14 (-110), O/U 56 (-115/-105)

The angle for this game is to look at the travel plans for the Hawaii Rainbow Hurricanes. Hawaii is traveling to Fort Collins, Colorado, narrowly escaping Hurricane Lane that is currently hitting the Aloha State. The team took an over night plane on Wednesday night to Denver and will be spending two nights in Fort Collins. So there are multiple factors to discuss already. The Rainbow Warriors have the hurricane on their minds, they have to adjust to the altitude in Colorado and adjust to the 4 hour time difference. I don’t see Hawaii scoring a bunch and having a terrible defense just due to the travel conditions. Last year Hawaii went 3-9 and lost to Colorado State 51-21. This year the Hurricanes return only 9 starters. I say hammer the over.

Wyoming vs. New Mexico State

Line: Wyoming -4 (-110), O/U 45 (-105/-115)

Wyoming went 8-5 last year and 5-3 in the WAC. New Mexico State went 7-6 and 4-4 in the Sun Belt Conference last year. Wyoming lost QB Josh Allen and his replacement Tyler Vander Waal red shirted last year and will see the field for the first time against New Mexico State. New Mexico State also has a new quarterback, Matt Romero. NMSU was the 6th best passing offense last year. But Wyoming had the 13th best passing defense in the country, holding opponents to just 17.5 points a game. This games has everything we need on the first Saturday of college football. New quarterbacks, good defenses and a tight game. Wyoming should win the game, but only by a field goal, take the home dog. New Mexico State +4.

There are 3 more games on the schedule, Dusquene vs. U Mass, Prarie View A&M vs. Rice and North Carolina A&T vs. Jacksonville State. Bovada has yet to release the lines. I will update on twitter with the plays. Follow me @thefinalsnap.

NOTE: Lines were picked at 6:30 pm CST on Thursday, August 23rd.
