Last week was a doozy. Really got hurt by some of the games and went 2-3 on the weekend. But you win some and you lose some. So far on the season we are 8-10 on the season. But don’t worry, I will have 5 more plays for you this weekend to get us out of this hole.

I usually will have lines for tonight and Friday, but honestly I do not like the matchups for this week so here are 5 lines for this Saturday’s games.
#5 Oklahoma vs. Iowa State
Line: Oklahoma -18, O/U 55
Iowa State looked rough last week. But they did hold Iowa to 13 points. But Iowa isn’t that good either. Oklahoma is very good this year. In their first two games the Sooners have 112 points, but they lost Heisman hopeful Rodney Anderson in the game against UCLA. But the Sooners still have Kyler Murray and a stellar defense. There is no way Oklahoma allows this to get out of hand like last year. Oklahoma avenges last year’s loss and roll over the Cyclones. Pick: Oklahoma -18
Hawaii vs. Army
Line: Army – 6, O/U 62
Hawaii has impressed this season and is the only 3-0 team in the country. The toughest part of this matchup is that this game will be 6 AM Hawaii Time. Cole McDonald will be stellar and Army will move too slow up the field. But its the 6 AM kick off that worries me. However we need to climb out of this hole. Hawaii wins outright. Book it. Pick: Hawaii +200
#15 TCU vs. #4 Ohio State
Line: Ohio State -13.5, O/U 60
I am going to be at the Iowa-Wisconsin game next week and for that sole reason I want Ohio State to lose. But that is no way to make bets. So lets break it down. Ohio State is one of the best offenses in the country scoring 64.5 points and averaging 650 yards a game. The Buckeyes also have taken care of the ball very well, losing the ball only twice in 1300 yards of offense. TCU isn’t that far behind with 48.5 points and 443 yards a game. But here’s the thing. Ohio State has experience and the size to make this game unwinnable for the Horned Frogs. Pick: Ohio State -13.5
Central Michigan vs. Northern Illinois
Line: Northern Illinois -14, O/U 44
I know you love some MACtion as much as I do, and this Saturday, we have our first matchup of the season. Centra Michigan has lost two straight, losing 20-35 against Kentucky and 31-7 against Kansas. NIU also has two losses. Losing 33-7 against Iowa and 17-6 against Utah. Now this is the MAC and against Power 5 teams they have scored a TD or less 3 times. But against MAC teams this totally changes. There will be 0 defense and a lot of offense. Hammer the over. Pick: Over 44
#22 USC vs. Texas
Line: Texas -3, O/U 48
Last year this was an incredible game in Southern California where USC won 27-24. None of these teams have looked as impressive as last year. Texas lost to Maryland and only beat a measly Tulsa team by 7 points. USC beat UNLV 43-21 but only managed 3 points in a loss to Stanford. The game will be close, but the line has me perplexed. Texas hasn’t proven that it can hang with good teams. On the other hand, USC failed to look good against Stanford last week. Take the points with USC. Pick: USC +3
Note: Lines may have changed. These picks were made at 9:15 PM CT on 9/12/2018.
